Join Team CATS: Embark on an amazing journey to raise funds and awareness to
help Break the Silence/Stop the Abuse for the 1,000 victims of sexual assault
and abuse that Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) serves each year!
CATS compassionate services help victims begin the recovery process and help
law enforcement with the investigation process. As a walker/runner you will
learn what you are truly capable of, and at the same time provide vital
support to victims on their road to recovery!
Become a Team CATS Member & Walk/Jog/Run to Break the Silence & Stop the
Abuse. Choose the full Marathon or 2-person relay.
CATS Official Training Program is provided and supported by Fleet Feet Sports
Encino & Body Dynamix Chiropractic & Performance. The training is held
in the San Fernando Valley, and is a coordinated effort designed to get you
across the finish line. The cost for team members is at the reduced fee. To be
eligible for this reduce fee, you must complete a commitment form. (see #3).

Hospitals Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS), which provides victims of
sexual abuse and assault with the services they need to begin the recovery process and
assists law enforcement with the investigation process to protect victims from

4. Team Incentives:
Raise $500 as a Team CATS member which entitles you to
receive an official Team CATS Dry-fit Training Shirt, a team hat, the
opportunity to join the 22 week Fleet Feet Sports / BDX Training Program at
the discounted rate!
Raise $1,000 CATS reimburses the discounted Fleet Feet Sports training fee.
Raise $1,500 or more and CATS also reimburses the $160 LA
Marathon entry fee or the $135 charity relay fee.

A Grand Prize Raffle will be held for everyone who has raised $1,000 or more.
CATS will provide fundraising guidance and support, a training manual, fundraising
incentive prizes and organized group fundraising events.

5. Choose a training program. Fleet Feet Sports is the
official CATS marathon training program. Its 22 week training program begins
on Saturday, October 18th at Lake Balboa Park. The training consists of Tuesday
night short runs, optional Yoga and fun runs on Wednesdays and Saturday long runs.

2015 Registration Fees:
$160 - LA Marathon or $135 Charity Relay Registration Fee. You must register
online by January 31, 2015 using the code provided to you by our staff. Your
space on Team Cats will be held until January 31.
The 2014-15 Fleet Feet Sports / BDX goal is to ensure that you cross that
finish line on March 15, 2015.
The Fleet Feet / BDX Training Program Includes:
22 weeks of training
2 trainings per week: Tuesday short runs, Wednesdays Yoga and fun runs (optional),
and Saturday long runs
Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced runners/walkers are welcome
