NEW 10K & 5K COURSES are fast, flat
and accurately measured to USA track & Field standards. Courses go through
the newly completed Bull Creek Channel Ecosystem Restoration Area
a path
along a winding stream through 28 acres of upland habitat and home to 200
species of birds.

Timing:
|
|
Enjoy accurate timing of your run and walk with ChronoTrack Timing System
which uses a disposable timing tag, called a D Tag. This allows you to walk
away from the finish without the need to have your tag
collected.
The ChronoTrack timing tag (D Tag) will be attached to your race bib.
The D Tag will be labeled with a number that matches your race
number.

Race Day Registration:
|
If you did not pre-register,
register on race day. Registration is available starting at 6:30am at
Lake Balboa Park (Anthony Beilenson Park). Enter off
Woodley Ave. Watch for Race Parking signs.
|
|
Team Registration:
|
Team Captains must register first (for the Team Captain category) and
enter team name on the registration form. Team Members can then register
(for the Team Member category) and select the appropriate team name from
the drop down box on the form.
|
|
Bib & Shirt pick-up:
|
If you are registered, you can pick up your bib number with chronotrack tag,
and shirt on Saturday, 4/10, at Lake Balboa Park (Anthony Beilenson Park)
from noon to 4 pm. or on race day starting at 6:30am at Lake Balboa Park.
Parking is free off Woodley Ave.

Online Fundraising:
|
A fundraising page will automatically be created for you when you
register. You will be able to customize your page (add
a picture, set a goal, etc). Team Fundraising pages will be created when the
Team Captain registers. Email the link to your fundraising page to your friends
& family and raise pledges online! Money will automatically be sent to the
organization, and your donors will receive a confirmation with their tax
id information.

Proceeds benefit:

The Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) at Northridge Hospital Medical
Center is the only 24/7 program for victims of sexual assault and abuse in the
San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys with 2.1 million residents. CATS provides
medical evidentiary exams, forensic interviews, case management and referrals
to victims of all ages. CATS services help victims begin the recovery and
healing process.

winner Rafer Johnson (presenting awards), Commander Chuck Street (landing the
KIIS FM helicopter), plus invited guests, the Laker Girls.

Free food and drinks provided by Los Toros Mexican Restaurant, Panera Bread,
Albertsons, Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream, and others. Visit the exciting
Business, Health and Fitness Expo. Enjoy the Kids Fun Zone with karate
demonstrations, face and hair painting.

Directions & Parking:
|
Race parking is free. Take the 405 freeway to Victory Blvd. Go West on Victory
Blvd. to Woodley Ave. South on Woodley to the park entrance. Enter Lake Balboa Park
off of Woodley Ave. Parking is in the park off Woodley Ave. Walk/jog .2 mile to the
start and expo area. Watch for Race Parking signs.
